Agora Gallery is celebrating the variety, beauty and complexity of the world in this month’s exhibition. Altered States of Reality: An Exhibition of Analog and Digital Fine Art Photography opens April 19, 2011 and runs until May 10, 2011, with the opening reception taking place on April 21, 2011. A great new exhibition is coming to Agora Gallery this month, with The Odyssey Within lending a refreshing Mediterranean air to lighten the December chill, and Elements of Abstraction and Sensorial Realms providing a visual feast you won’t forget. Starting December 16, 2010, with the opening reception taking place on the same day, the show will run through the holiday period, ending on January 7, 2010. As always, art-lovers are warmly welcomed and entrance is free.

A new exhibition is coming to Gallery II, Agora Gallery’s recently acquired sophisticated gallery space, adjacent to the main gallery. It’s a photography show called ‘Year in Pictures’, organized by the NYPPA, and it will run from October 29, 2010 until November 19, 2010. The opening reception will be held on Thursday October 29 between 5 and 8pm.

It’s certainly true that images have tremendous power over our impressions, thoughts and even memories. This month not one, not two, but three new exhibitions are coming to the main gallery space of Agora Gallery! The new series of exhibits open to the public on 11 May, 2010 and run until 1 June, 2010, with the opening reception taking place on 13 May, 2010. As always, entrance is free and everyone is welcome.
Out From Down Under & Beyond: Fine Art From Australia and New Zealand brings the talent and creativity of a range of wonderful contemporary artists from ‘Down Under’ to New York. Diverse in scope, styles and themes as you would expect from the works at an Agora Gallery exhibition, this show displays the color and vivacity of life and art in and around the Pacific.

A firm favorite is returning to Agora Gallery – April 16, 2010 sees the start of Altered States of Reality: an Exhibition of Analog and Digital Photography. The show will run until May 7, 2010, with the reception taking place on Thursday April 22, 2010.
Altered States of Reality showcases the varied work of some of the finest established and emerging fine art photographers in the international art world. The fact that the exhibition includes work from both photographers who favor analog photography and those who prefer to work in digital form means that the audience has the opportunity to compare these two major genres side by side.

A brand new exhibition is coming to Agora Gallery’s adjacent gallery this April. Following on from the successful and widely enjoyed exhibitions of Ruth Gilmore Langs and the Lego sculptures of Nathan Sawaya, Agora Gallery is delighted to announce that the Mecenavie Gallery will be showcasing its artists in an exhibition entitled ‘Here we ART’.
The Mecenavie Gallery is based in Paris, France, and it focuses mainly on French artists. This show is the first of three which the Parisian gallery will be mounting in our new gallery space. This first one is particularly exciting because it involves introducing the work of these talented French artists to the New York art scene – and of course bringing a bit of Paris to Chelsea!
Agora Gallery is proud to announce the opening of new exhibitions Portal of Perception and Contemporary German Art: The New York Experience. They will be available for viewing at Agora Gallery’s Chelsea space from March 23, 2010 until April 13, 2010. The opening reception will be held on March 25, 2010 at 6-8 pm.
We are anticipating the exhibition of Contemporary German Art with great excitement, as it is the first exhibition devoted to the work of talented artists with German background or cultural heritage.
