Exhibition: Interpretive Realms; The Rhythm of Color; Degrees of Abstraction
Three lively, fresh new exhibits are coming to Agora Gallery this summer. They are collective exhibitions, and display a vibrant variety of styles, colors and mediums that will be able to appeal to every preference and perspective. The exhibitions open on July 31, 2012 and run until August 21, 2012. The opening reception will take place on the evening of Thursday August 2, 2012, and as always art lovers are warmly welcomed to attend and enjoy the buzz and the opportunity to meet some of the artists.
Prepare to be swept away by the dynamic creativity of Interpretive Realms, which displays the work of artists who use their talent and skill to create art that mines the depth and meaning of reality, subtly shifting the boundaries and norms of standard assumptions in the process. Viewers may be both surprised and delighted to uncover the unsuspected but fascinating levels that characterize everyday life – if you’re looking at it with the right pair of eyes.
In The Rhythm of Color, audiences will be instantly struck by the vivacious and compelling use of hue and form to express a point of view or idea. Contemplative yet full of an exciting kinetic energy, these works combine the best of mind and matter to present a refreshing and appealing case for the power of color. Fully aware of their impact on a receptive mind, the artists provide space for each individual to consider what is before them, yet simultaneously encourage viewers dive into an immersive experience.
Degrees of Abstraction explores the nature of space and form, with wonderful and memorable results. Integrating the results of minutely observed experience with an all-embracing awareness of a larger picture, these artworks speak to the most interesting and diverse aspects of life, relating them to human concerns and bringing each shape into its proper place in both the image and the idea of reality that it represents.
