We’ve got a treat lined up for art lovers at Agora Gallery this fall, with innovative contemporary fine art photography that will give you a new and intriguing perspective on what you see around you, and art that will leave you feeling interested and optimistic, ready to make the most of your own experiences. All this at the same time as Henri Gueguen’s solo exhibition! So don’t miss out – we’ll see you at Agora Gallery soon. The exhibitions begin on October 29, 2013 and run until November 19, 2013. The opening reception takes place on the evening of Thursday, November 7, and entrance is free, so come and enjoy these dazzling works of art!
In Illumination: An Exhibition of Fine Art Photography you will rediscover the charm and complexity of contemporary fine art photography. Using both the potential inherent in their equipment and the skill they have with their medium, these artists produce work which captures their unique vision of the world. Based in what they see and what we can recognize ourselves, yet firmly encouraging us to see beyond that perspective as well, the images create whole worlds of fascinating detail and meaning – which are all the more absorbing when we realize that these worlds are our world, too.
Delicate yet robust, the work in The Kaleidoscope of the Mind delves into the nature of lived experience, memory and psychological reality. The artists view their surroundings with the attention that attends minute observation, yet grace their perceptions with a generosity of spirit and kindness of interpretation that seeps into their art and makes each piece feel like a source of inspiration and hope. Lively, lovely and with a lilting rhythm that finds its way into minds and hearts, this collection of work is full of everything that makes art worth returning to again and again.
